I'm Farron Salley, an eager beaver finishing my master's degree in the Broadcast & Digital Journalism program at the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. I'm a proud Texas native and you should know that my love for the Dallas Cowboys travels everywhere I go. Afterall, they're America's Team!
I completed my bachelor's degree at Abilene Christian University where I studied broadcast journalism and political science. I got my start on air hosting the morning news at Abilene Public Radio and later landed my first television job working as a producer/ nightside and weekend reporter at KTXS-TV.
During my free time, you can catch me taking long walks with my best bud, a rat terrier named Royce Money (Roycie for short). To fix my creative itch, I also enjoy writing and performing slam poetry.
My passion for journalism stems from my love for people. I love meeting people and learning their stories. I want to engage, earn their trust and hold the right people accountable.
That's me in a nutshell. I'd like the opportunity to meet you.
Thank you for contacting us. We will get back to you as soon as possible
